Porter's 1st Birthday

On August 27th my little Porter turned 1 year old. I can't believe it. I almost missed it it came up on me so fast. I am kind of sad that he is growing up so fast...it is always exciting to watch you kids grow and see them take their first step or say their first word...but it is also kind of sad at the same time. I always wonder when something will be the last time they do something before they grow out of it. When will they not want to snuggle with me all the time, when they won't need me to put them to bed at night. When they can put their own clothes on. I feel so grateful at the time that they are growing up and want to be independent...Later I feel sad when I think about how I will never get to do that with them again. OKAY, so now that I have got my sappy side out of me. Here is my son Porter on his 1st Birthday :) Enjoy!!

Fire!!

Okay so I have heard from several of you that I need to update my blog! I know I have been terrible at blogging lately. Sorry.

Well to kick off the update, Brian had knee surgery last Tuesday and went back to work today...as he was pulling up to our house after work he smelt something burning in his truck and got out to check it out. Flames about 2 feet high coming from his work battery in the back of his work van and smoke was pouring out of the van. He asked me to call the fire department, so I did. What a great fire department Provo has!! They are some really great guys!! They got here so fast! The fire was out when they got here thanks to Brian having a fire extinguisher in his van. Now Brian is laughing because tomorrow he has a safety meeting! Ha ha! Wonder what the topic will be!!

Been a while hasn't it :)

Okay so there is just way too much to catch up on too much. So much has been going on. We moved in December, have been living a renters nightmare to put it mildly. I got super sick, found out later that some of while I was sick was from the stress of the living arrangements and what I was eating. So I am feeling much better now ;) yeah! We are now moving again. Hopefully we won't be moving for a while after this. I am so excited to get out of this hell whole!! Here are some of the picture of our new place... This is the front of our place This is the backyard...fenced and all :) yeah for the kids and me :) This is the kitchen. Not as big as what I am used to but It will be great :) This is the Master Bedroom, it was 2 closets and the room is huge! This is Che and Justin's room, it is right across the hall from us. should be fun :) Bathroom of course. Sad that we only have one, but all well. there are worse things :) ha ha ;) This is the dinning room. Living room, this room is actually a lot bigger than the picture looks. I will probably be able to annoy brian and rearrange sometimes ;) Ha ha :) Porters room and when he moves in with his brother it will be the spare room :) Laundry room :) and we also have this huge basement. love it!! Okay so what else. I don't know. I will try and do more later. I need to go and pack :) Keep in touch. i will try to do better :)

updating and venting

**Warning** I am a very sleep deprived mother I am not responsible for any thing in here that is pissy, offensive, or that doesn't make a bit of sense. Just be happy I updated my blog and get on with it. Also, Note: my camera is broken so I will not be posting anymore pictures until I have gotten it fixed or replaced. I know totally sucks and the kids have been doing the cutest things lately and I reach for my camera and think...dang it...another moment missed...all well...Enjoy! Okay so I know that I haven't updated my blog or anything in a long time...sorry about that. We went on a trip to Washington for Thanksgiving and while there found out that we were moving! We ended up moving the weekend before Christmas and just after Christmas my camera broke and we all got the flu. So we have been pretty busy around here. I know I know no excuses! Well here it goes.... Just after we moved Justin got a hold of some of Che's underwear and came out with them on his head telling me "look mom, my hat" he loved it and wore them most of the morning. He is very stubborn. We did manage to get our tree up 2 days before Christmas...it was very crazy and I didn't get the decorations out so we just hung candy canes on the tree...I think that was a mistake, because Justin just stared at the tree and when I wouldn't look he would sneak one off the tree and try to eat it. Che picked out the star on top of the tree he was so proud of it...I had to hold him up so he could put it on the tree...that was his favorite part :) What a cutie :) This is Christmas morning before we went to Grandma and Grandpa's house. The kids had so much fun. I still don't know how we pulled this off. we still had a house full of unpacked boxes it was insane. Che got bumble bee's gun. It fits over your hand and shoots and makes all kinds of sounds. He loves it and talks about it all the time. When we watch the transformers movies he gets so excited that he has a gun like bumble bee. I think Justin is obsessed with Helicopters. Seriously if he hears one he has to go and see it and loves it when they are on the TV so we got him this. It was so cool to watch him. Man Christmas must have sucked before kids!! After we opened our presents we went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house and spent the rest of the day stuffing our faces with all kinds of good food. It was a blast and it was great to get away from the mountain of boxes. The kids had so much fun passing out presents and opening them. Man they are spoiled. Porter got a pink bumbo for Christmas. He loves it! Maybe it is a sign that we will have a girl next :) ha ha :) I love this picture! Didn't even notice Justin standing on the present until I saw this picture ;) too funny Che went nuts when he heard this huge present was for him. It was a basket ball hoop. He and Justin love it. Can't wait for nice weather so we can take it outside and play :) Justin got a train and tracks for Christmas. I think that it was on all day every day for a week. Now it is just a couple of times a day...lots of fun though :) What a cute little guy!! This is Uncle Chris and Che watching Tom and Jerry! It was so funny they were so entranced in the show. Che talks about this all the time now :) Justin always wanting to be "higher" Here is Che and Brian making a Ginger bread house. Che thought this was the coolest ever! Of course he ate more than what ended up on the house. Porter had fun watching. He is a very sweet and cute little boy. LOVES to watch everything his brothers do. Che was very proud of himself ;) Okay, here is the venting part of my blog. I was going to put this on facebook but I really didn't want to offend anyone and hey this is my blog so if you don't like it don't read it....so in case you offend easily then stop now and close my blog...also know that I am not directing this at any one person I am guilty of this as well....alright here it goes! I am so tired of all of the sentimental crap that gets posted on Facebook and emailed to everyone. I mean come on I know I have been guilty of this but it has gotten so bad lately I mean that is all I see now is I love this or if you are proud of that or forward this to X amount of people blah blah blah. Don't really know how anyone is doing but I know what they love and aren't embarrassed of. And don't get any real emails anymore just a full inbox of forwards and because I love you stuff to go through. Ahhhh...yes I am tried and yes I am rambling but dang it feels good to just put it out there. Okay, I'm don't venting. hello :)

So I am going to have surgery tomorrow afternoon...as some of you know I have a really stubborn kidney stone that won't pass. It has hardly made any progress in the last two weeks just caused me a lot of pain :( So I saw the doctor today and they have this whole plan on what they are going to do to get it out. I guess it is close to my spine (which isn't good) and so they have to be really careful. They are going to try and blast it which will break it up and they it should pass easier. If that doesn't work because of location then they are going to try to surgically remove it...if that doesn't work....well it isn't good and I will be in a lot of pain for a while. So everyone wish me luck!!

Kidney Stones AGAIN!!

This morning is wasn't Porter that woke me up :( it was a light pain in my left hip...hoping is was gas or something unimportant like that I ignored it. But it didn't go away...that started at around 6:30am this morning. By 7:30am I was hunched over in extreme pain and I knew it was another kidney stone. So I called my fabulous mother-in-law and asked if she could come and watch the kids (she jetted right over) and my husband took me to the doctor. They gave me some great pain killers and confirmed via cat scan that it was a kidney stone about 4mm which is double the size of my last one (ouch)!! And that one took me 2 months to pass (merry Christmas to me). So Brian ended up taking the day off to help his invalid wife with the day and the kids and myself (he is the best). And I am feeling lots better...I haven't passed it yet so I know there is more pain to come, but in the mean time I will enjoy while the pain is gone.

My Eye (left one)

Okay anyone who know me know that my health for the past little while well it sucks!! One of the thing that I have been dealing with is a tumor on my left eye that is causing a pooling of fluid right by my retna. No I am not experiencing anything...didn't even know it was there except for the pictures of it they keep taking trying to figure out it's rate of growth and what is causing it and for a while there what it was :) ha ha :) Well today I had another follow up appointment and I was totally freaked out for....even reschedule 3 times :) ha ha :) But I made it there today and I got good news this time!!! It looks like it is shrinking so they said that is good and I now don't have to go back for 8 months. Yeah :) So relieved :)

Best Buy Sucks!!

So not that long ago our computer crashed...so off Brian went to find a new one...Once he found what he wanted and the price...it was time to buy. They were offering a 0% interest for a year on there store card and so Brian wanted to find out if he would qualify for it...he didn't but he did for this REWARDS card that had an annual fee of like $60 and an interest rate of 18.99% Crazy!! So Brian turned it down at the store and just bought the computer with cash. Well along come the mail and I see an envelop from Best Buy Rewards and I open it and see in invoice and then I think...Oh Crap I just opened someone elses mail...Nope...had Brian's name on it. So I told Brian and he freaked. He got so mad that they opened the card anyways...so off he went to call the company to get things straightened out...yeah I don't think the person on the other side of the phone was actually that smart...or she has really bad listening skills...lets just say she was able to push my husband to a point of frustration and anger that I have yet to achieve...I have so admit though that I was in the back ground giggling my head off. I thought it was so funny. I know I am not a nice person sometimes but it was fun watching him try to talk nice to her and use nice words and then here her try to change his mind...her tenacity was impressive, I give her that much :) But in the end Brian on that battle and got the card cancelled and the fees taken off. so Yeah For Brian!!

Oh how Justin can scare me!!

As some of you know Justin can cause me a bit of stress sometimes. Whenever he throws a mega tantrum or gets hurt really bad he holds his breath and passes out. Surprisingly I have gotten some what used to this...I know hard to believe...not saying it doesn't scare me still, but the panic isn't as intense as it used to be. Well today that changed. Today Justin and Che were upstairs playing and according to Che, Justin tripped and fell into the wall...well Justin cried a little but not the cry he normally does before he holds his breath and passes out...so I wasn't that concerned...then it went silent...here comes the panic!! I ran up the stairs to find him on the ground face down with his back arched, eyes rolled back and kind of twitching, when I rolled him over his lips were kind of purple...then he took and huge breath and started crying really hard...I have to say that was the best sound I had ever heard. I called the doctor to let them know what had happened in case they wanted to see him...they said that all of that can be normal for breath holding, but to watch him...he is already back to normal and running around playing like nothing happened...only evidence that anything happened is a red mark on his nose and a small rug burn on his tummy. Poor little guy. But man if this is how the breath holding episodes are going to go from now on I am going to need to go on a heart medication or some ulcer meds. Ahhhh....!!!
